Who we are
DownloadFullPage is developed and published by Digital Suvidha Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”), [registered address — to be confirmed]. Contact: [Contact e-mail — to be confirmed].
1. The DownloadFullPage extension
Data processed on your device
When you take a screenshot, the extension processes the following locally, inside your Chrome profile:
- Screenshot images and small thumbnails;
- The page address (URL) and page title of the captured page, the capture time and image size, so you can find screenshots in your history;
- Names and collections you create;
- Your settings.
This data is stored in the extension’s local storage (IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local). It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. You can delete individual screenshots, clear all history, turn history off, or set automatic deletion in Settings. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.
Page content
To capture a full page, the extension temporarily scrolls the page and adjusts its layout (for example, hiding scrollbars and repeated headers), then restores it. If you turn on privacy masking, it scans the page’s visible text on your device to find e-mail addresses and phone numbers and covers them during capture. This information is not stored or sent anywhere.
Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
activeTab | Capture the tab you are viewing, only after you start a capture. |
scripting | Run the bundled capture script that scrolls the page and restores it afterwards. |
storage | Save your settings. |
unlimitedStorage | Keep your screenshot history on your own device. |
downloads | Save PNG, JPG and PDF files where you choose. |
contextMenus | Add “Capture full page” and related items to the right-click menu. |
The extension requests no access to websites at installation. Chrome grants temporary access to the current tab only when you start a capture.
Files you download
Exported PNG, JPG and PDF files are saved by Chrome to the location you choose. If you enable URL or date stamps, that information is printed on the exported image.
2. DownloadFullPage Pro (not yet available)
Pro is planned but is not on sale. When it launches, purchasing will require processing your e-mail address, a license key and payment details. Payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor; we will not see your full card number. This section will be updated with the specific provider, the data collected, retention periods and your rights before Pro goes on sale.
3. The downloadfullpage.com website
This website is a static site. It does not use cookies, analytics or advertising scripts [confirm — update this sentence if you add analytics — to be confirmed]. Like any web server, our hosting provider ([hosting provider, e.g. Hostinger — to be confirmed]) may record standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operation. If you e-mail us, we use your message only to respond.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal data. The extension does not transfer user data to third parties.
5. Children
DownloadFullPage is not directed at children under 13 [or the minimum age that applies in your jurisdiction — to be confirmed].
6. Your rights
Because the extension keeps data on your device, you control it directly through Settings and History. For questions about any data we may hold (for example, e-mails you sent us), contact [Contact e-mail — to be confirmed]. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to complain to a data protection authority.
7. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received from Google APIs by DownloadFullPage adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes affecting the extension will also be noted in the release notes.
